MOI is proud to invite you to a new and exciting collaboration with the amazing Sarit Sela, a Stockholm based certified KonMari method consultant and owner of the successful blog MinimalistMe.
Sarit will be joining us for a four hour seminar on Wednesday, June 23rd, 10:00-14:00. The seminar will be divided into two parts with a lunch break in the middle.
Part 1: KonMari workshop for arranging your home and life. Our home is our most important place, our shelter, the place where we raise our children, the place where we retreat to for calm and serenity. Often, due to the race of life, our home becomes disorderly and chaotic. KonMari is not just a way to get rid of the mess in your life, it’s a lifestyle. It is a way of life that will lead you to the life you want to live. Especially now that we’re at home more than ever, this is a great time to stop and think – “does everything I have at home support my lifestyle?”
The method, invented by the Japanese guru of order Marie Kondo, will teach you to live only with things that make you happy at heart (Spark Joy). In the process you will learn to say goodbye to what no longer has a place in your life. Unlike other sorting methods, this method advocates sorting by category rather than location. If you arrange your home according to this method, you will live an orderly life once and for all.
Part 2: Branding identity on Instagram, using styling and photography, on a smartphone. How to create a visual language on Instagram? How do you brand your business based on service and not necessarily on product? How will custom photography and styling create an experience in a way that is not overly commercialized?
In the workshop, Sarit will explain how you can brand yourself and your business on Instagram, while building a content strategy based on your brand’s values, thus turning Instagram into your visual business card. We will also explore tools for creating photographic composition which appeals to our followers’ emotional connection to the story our brand tells.
Sarit Sela, content creator who has lived in Stockholm for the past nine years, conducts KonMari workshops during her visits to Israel. Sarit attended Marie Kondo’s seminar in April 2019, and was certified as a KonMarie consultant. Scandinavian style and minimalism have become a part of Sarit’s work, blog and Instagram.
