One of the things we love the most is meeting interesting and talented people and creators.
When Lee Efraim invited us to visit her home in Timrat (Israel Valley) we already understood that she was something special – but we were not prepared for what was coming .. Lee’s home is like one big canvas of inspiration and creativity. There is no corner that is not tastefully arranged, a combination of color and details alongside cleanliness and aesthetics.
Our eyes were wandering around her home enjoying and exploring everything and the place seemed to have no end.
Lee’s work is a way of life in which things are created out of need or desire and the source of inspiration is a life itself. She began her path in the world of design with a bachelor’s degree in textile design at Shenkar College of Engineering, Design and Art and from there continued on to a Master’s Degree in industrial design at the Technion, Israel Institute of Technology. Over time she has learned to create a bridge and connection between a need for a solution or as she calls it – “An architecture of thought which is when you understand its principles and you can pour everything into it and so I create useful tools from any material in its path and when the inspiration tank needs filling, I go to meet life again”.
After admiring and getting inspired by her creations we sat at her dining table, which is a creation in itself, drinking sweet cinnamon tea and eating perfect strawberries in the company of our friend Veronica (the creator of an wonderful online magazine “Make Eat”) who also joined us for a full dose of inspiration and beauty. Later on we left home with perfect serving utensils for Passover and endless ideas and inspiration.
